Description
Nikon has confirmed its place as leader in the full-frame SLR camera market with the D3x - a camera that comes complete with bags of technology, including a CMOS sensor with 24.5 megapixels in FX format (24x36).
The D3x is driven by an Expeed image processing engine, recognised as one of the best available, to deliver outstanding quality results (6048 x 4032 pixels) in exceptional sizes, with sensitivity ranging from 50 to 6400 ISO.
The Nikon D3x is as fast as lightning to pick up every last detail. It incorporates Nikon's Multi-cam 3500 FX autofocus system, which has 51 AF points, to enable better accuracy for fast-moving subjects in low light. Plus, its solid shutter lets you capture up to 5 images per second (7 with DX lenses).
Thanks to two technologies exclusive to Nikon, the D3x provides a host of intelligent auto-exposure options, along with refined auto white balance detection and scene recognition, for faster, more accurate focusing. D-Lighting eliminates the problems associated with underexposed images and brings detail out of shadows.
The large, 3-inch screen is great for viewing in real time what you're about to shoot, while the twin memory card slot lets you pop in CompactFlash and Microdrive cards and boost your storage and transfer possibilities.
The Nikon D3x was voted "Best Digital SLR Professional Camera 2009" at the TIPa Awards. | | Type | Type | Professional level reflex |
